Description

After countless Multifaces, Digifaces and Firefaces by RME the new developed Babyface is the optimal solution for the mobile and the home use. Equipped with the same 192 kHz AD/DA converters as other RME devices and two microphone preamplifiers the Babyface offers not only an extraordinary first class sound, but an easy transportable designer case as well. Furthermore the Babyface dosen’t need a extern power supply and is equipped ADAST I/O, MIDI I/O, RMEs’ Steady Clock and TotalMix FX that offers new developed features like a 3-band parametric EQ, echo and hall.

Not least the Babyface enables revolutionary low latencies for all inputs and outputs with the new developed RME Hammerfall Pro Audio Core Technology. This allows a performance that wasn’t possible for USB audio interfaces so far. With its central volume control the elegant Babyface operates as control station for all typical studio activities: volume, scoring and recall of the reference level, Dim, input selection, input gain and more. The fast and intuitive use of all functions was a top priority during the development, so the Babyface is of a high user friendliness. All together the Babyface is a perfect pro audio partner for mobile live recordings or spontaneous composition sessions.
