RME M-32 DA Pro II-D Product Details

Description

The M-32 Pro II series is designed to meet the demanding needs of professional studios, immersive sound installations, live sound systems, and industrial applications that require a reliable analog conversion solution with high-end network audio processing. With up to 32 channels, full-featured MADI I/O, enhanced specifications with ultra-low THD, intelligent channel routing, and innovative ease-of-use, the all-new M-32 Pro II series represents the state of the art for exceptional audio performance.

A second network port has been added to provide redundancy or to allow daisy-chaining within the same network. Wordclock BNC and coaxial MADI connectors are integrated, and optical MADI can be added with an optional SFP module - ideal for applications requiring high channel count at high sample rates. Channels from both MADI ports can be individually routed to and from AVB/Dante.

The frequently requested Dante connectivity has been integrated by RME directly into the M-32 Pro II-D hardware. It allows connection to other audio devices via standard network switches - and enables users to connect up to 64 audio channels of a computer directly to the M-32 Pro II-D's analog and digital inputs and outputs using the Dante Virtual SoundcardTM (license sold separately).
