The RockBoard HA 3 in- ear monitoring headphone amplifier is the ideal solution for musicians who require precise and controlled in-ear monitoring. As the heart of a high-quality two-channel monitoring system, it offers professional sound reproduction for stage and studio. The extremely compact and lightweight device is particularly suitable for applications where the musician is in a fixed position during the performance - such as drummers, keyboardists or singers. The HA 3 combines robust construction, simple operation and maximum flexibility in a compact format.
With its clearly structured design and versatile connection options, the headphone amplifier can be seamlessly integrated into existing stage or studio setups. The HA 3 not only offers high-quality audio characteristics, but also a sophisticated operating concept that is tailored to the needs of active musicians. This makes it an indispensable component for anyone who wants to rely on a clear and direct monitoring solution.
With the HA 3, RockBoard has designed an in-ear monitoring amplifier that has been specially developed for use in professional environments. The target group ranges from guitarists and bassists to drummers and singers who need a reliable and controllable monitoring solution. The high-quality aluminum housing reliably protects the sensitive technology from external influences and ensures a long service life - even with intensive use in everyday live situations.
Thanks to its low weight of just 295 g (without battery) and compact format, the amplifier can be carried comfortably on a belt. Alternatively, the device can be securely attached to any standard microphone stand using the included 5/8" and 3/8" screw adapter - ideal for stationary setups or studio use. The sturdy metal clip ensures a firm hold on the belt and allows quick access to the controls.
The RockBoard HA 3 is equipped with two combination input sockets that support both XLR and 6.35 mm TRS jack plugs. These input channels allow either the operation of a true stereo signal or the use of two independent monitor signals - perfect for individual monitoring mixes. The XLR inputs are also equipped with a locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection of the cables, thus ensuring additional operational safety.
The output is via a 3.5 mm stereo jack socket and is therefore compatible with all common in-ear monitor systems, earphones or conventional headphones. Depending on the setup, the user can choose between stereo and mono playback - a practical MONO/STEREO switch makes the changeover extremely easy. There is also a volume control for adjusting the volume and a balance control for controlling the panorama. This allows the monitoring to be adapted precisely to personal listening preferences.
The HA 3 can be powered either by a 9V battery or an external 9V DC power supply unit (with negative pole on the center contact, not included). The power supply is therefore flexible and equipped for all stage situations. The easily accessible battery compartment allows the battery to be replaced quickly - particularly important for use on tour or in live operation.
A two-color LED display provides information on the operating status and remaining battery power, so that surprises can be avoided. A practical ON/OFF switch allows the device to be simply switched off when not in use to save energy and extend battery life.
With its sophisticated design, high-quality components and versatile connection options, the RockBoard HA 3 in-ear monitoring headphone amplifier is a compact and professional solution for individual monitoring. The input impedance of 16KΩ and the output impedance of 12Ω (with the volume control fully turned up) ensure a clear and powerful sound that remains stable even at high volumes.
The dimensions of the device - 102 x 85 x 34 mm - enable a space-saving setup without sacrificing ease of use. With the HA 3, musicians get a tool that is convincing in every respect: technically mature, practical and robust - ideal for demanding monitoring applications in live and studio use.
