Optimized signal routing for modern setups

The RockBoard MOD 2 V2 fits into all RockBoard pedalboards with MOD slot (except DUO series) and can also be installed on or under pedalboards from other manufacturers thanks to its removable front panel. It acts as a central interface between guitar, amp, effects units and other equipment - ideal for setups with multiple signal paths, MIDI controllers or digital recording systems.

Four TRS through connections (6.3 mm stereo jack) enable the implementation of true stereo concepts, for example for stereo effects chains or keyboard and synthesizer setups. At the same time, they can be used for the popular 4-cable method to use pedals both before and in the effects path of the amplifier. This provides maximum flexibility while maintaining order and signal separation.

MIDI, USB and power supply integrated

Particularly practical for more complex control scenarios: The MOD 2 V2 offers two 5-pin DIN MIDI-through connections, allowing MIDI-capable pedals, switchers or amplifiers to be easily integrated into the setup - both for receiving and forwarding MIDI signals. This makes the module the control center for digital signal control on your board.

An additional USB Type A Through port allows connection to a computer or an external sound card. Ideal for setup programming, firmware updates or direct access to USB-enabled devices such as MIDI controllers or interfaces. The power supply has also been cleverly designed: a DC 2.1 x 5.5 mm through hollow plug and an AC IEC through (male front, female rear) enable clean, safe and central connection of power supply units - without any loose cables across the board.

Instead of laboriously routing individual cables under the board, all input and output is centralized on the front of the MOD 2 V2.
