With the RockBoard MOD 4 Wireless 2.4 GHz Guitar Receiver + TRS Patchbay, RockBoard presents a sophisticated all-in-one solution for modern pedalboards. This innovative module combines a powerful wireless system with a practical TRS patchbay, enabling a wireless connection to the instrument and a perfectly organized effects setup. Musicians benefit from tidy cable routing, easy access to all connections and interference-free, high-resolution signal transmission - both on stage and in the studio.
Whether for guitarists, bassists or other users with pedalboards: The MOD 4 simplifies set-up, increases mobility and significantly reduces cabling time. There is no compromise on audio quality - the digital 2.4 GHz system impresses with its low latency, long range and uncompressed transmission in studio quality.
The integrated wireless system of the RockBoard MOD 4 operates in the license-free 2.4 GHz ISM band and can be used worldwide. The digital signal transmission is uncompressed with 24 bit at 48 kHz and offers a sound quality that will satisfy even the most demanding musicians. With a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a dynamic range of over 103 dB and a minimum latency of just 5 ms, the playing experience is completely retained - without any audible or perceptible delay.
The average range of 30 meters (without obstacles) is completely sufficient for most stage situations. Four selectable channels ensure flexible interaction between multiple wireless systems - perfect for bands or studio environments with multiple instruments. The receiver's audio output is via a 6.3 mm mono jack (TS), which is fed directly into the pedalboard setup.
In addition to wireless reception, the MOD 4 offers an integrated patchbay with four balanced 6.3 mm TRS Thru sockets (A, B, C, D), which are internally routed directly from front to rear. These allow all signal paths on the board to be centrally accessible - ideal for avoiding having to search for connections under the pedalboard. The power supply and USB charging connections are also routed through the module in an organized manner.
With this configuration, a pedalboard can be wired up much more quickly and efficiently. This saves an enormous amount of time, especially on tour or with frequent set changes, and increases the clarity of the board. Thanks to its modular design, the MOD 4 can be inserted directly into compatible RockBoard pedalboards - alternatively, it can also be mounted on other boards using the removable front panel.
The RockBoard MOD 4 also offers practical interfaces for power supply and USB accessories. A DC-Thru (2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel connector, negative polarity inside), an AC IEC-Thru and a USB-A charging output ensure that power supply units, chargers or USB-based devices can be easily integrated into the setup - without additional cables and adapters on the surface of the board.
The MOD 4 itself is powered via an optional 9V DC power supply unit with a current consumption of 500 mA. Battery operation is not provided, which benefits the stability and longevity of the digital technology. Alternatively, the device can be used passively - in this case only the patchbay works, the wireless system remains deactivated.
The RockBoard MOD 4 is equipped with two antennas that ensure optimum signal stability. The compact dimensions (with front panel 175 x 85 x 47 mm) make the module a space-saving yet powerful component of the pedalboard. Thanks to its low weight of just 500 g, it is hardly noticeable, but offers a significant increase in functionality and convenience.
In addition to the module itself, the scope of delivery also includes a USB cable, two antennas and suitable mounting screws and nuts - everything you need for direct integration into the setup. The robust workmanship ensures that the MOD 4 can easily withstand the demands of everyday live use.
With the RockBoard MOD 4 Wireless 2.4 GHz Guitar Receiver + TRS Patchbay, RockBoard offers a smart combination of wireless reception and well thought-out signal management. This module is a real asset for musicians who value order, flexibility and quality. Whether at a gig, in the studio or in the rehearsal room - the MOD 4 provides more freedom, a better overview and an optimized setup with professional audio quality.
