The NT1 Signature Cobalt large diaphragm condenser microphone combines the best features of its predecessors in a modern design. It combines the silky transparent sound of the legendary NT1-A, the precise bass frequency response of the black NT1 and the extremely low self-noise of the 5th generation NT1. This blend makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, including vocals, speech, acoustic guitars, upright and grand pianos, orchestral strings and many other sound sources.

With a minimum self-noise of only 4 dBA, the NT1 Signature Cobalt is particularly suitable for quiet instruments. But it also shows its strengths with louder sound sources: The microphone has a limiting sound pressure level of 142 dB and is therefore ideal for recording guitar and bass amplifiers, miked brass instruments, as a drum overhead or for other loud sound sources.

Its compact dimensions and low weight make the NT1 Signature Cobalt easy to handle, so that it can be positioned stably even with simple stands.

Included is the deluxe SM6 spider with integrated pop shield, a 6m quality XLR cable and a dust bag.
