Description

The VideoMic Go from Rode is an optimal and high-resolution extension for hobby filmmakers, without being a big burden on the wallet. With this microphone, you can get started right away. Simply plug the mic on the standard hot shoe adapter and connect the mini jack to the camera and off you go. Thanks to the robust, decoupled Lyra swing mount, sounds are pleasantly picked up without jerks or other unwanted signals such as grip noise. The microphone can also be mounted just as quickly on a boom or a handle for interviews.

At 73g, the Rode VideoMic is extremely lightweight and comes with a built-in 1/2" condenser capsule. The VideoMic Go is a designed directional microphone with a supercardioid characteristic, allowing it to attenuate sound waves coming from the side.
