The RØDE Wireless Micro Blue is an ultra-compact wireless microphone system designed specifically for use with smartphones and iPhones featuring a USB-C port. Just plug it in and record

Measuring 40 x 20 mm, the wireless microphones are extremely compact and weigh just 12 g. The USB-C receiver connects directly to a smartphone or tablet and weighs a mere 6 g. Once removed from the charging case, the transmitter and receiver pair automatically—Plug & Play in its purest form, with no configuration or app required.

Brilliant sound quality with GainAssist

Thanks to the high-quality miniature condenser capsule and the intelligent GainAssist automatic level control, the Wireless Micro always delivers optimally balanced audio recordings. The integrated windscreen ensures clear results even during outdoor recordings—for stronger winds, two fur windscreens are included. With a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB SPL, the system is also suitable for music recordings.

Powerful charging case and flexible mounting

Each unit offers up to 7 hours of runtime, and the charging case with a 490 mAh battery capacity allows for two full charges for all three modules—perfect for all-day use. The charging time is 3 hours. The microphones can either be clipped on in the traditional way or discreetly attached to clothing using the included magnetic plates.

Perfect for mobile productions

Transmission is stable in the 2.4 GHz band with a range of up to 100 meters (line of sight). The USB-C receiver is compatible with Android (version 11 and up) as well as iOS (version 14 and up), as long as a corresponding USB-C port is available. Digital audio processing takes place at 24-bit / 48 kHz—for crystal-clear, professional-quality voice and music recordings.
