Roland V-Drums are known worldwide for their sound quality, dynamics and durability. With the TD-02 series, Roland proves once again that no compromises are necessary even in the entry-level segment. The TD-02K combines sophisticated technologies, high-quality pads and practical features such as coaching tools, USB audio/MIDI functionality and Bluetooth expandability. Thanks to its robust construction, quiet operation and compact size, it is perfect for home use, lessons or personal training.
The TD-02K is the most compact model in the series and contains all the basic components for a complete e-drum setup. The kit consists of a TD-02 sound module, a snare pad (PD-4), three tom pads (PD-4), a no-strike kick pedal (KT-1), three cymbal pads (CY-5 for hi-hat, crash and ride) and a hi-hat pedal (FD-1). The pads are responsive, durable and offer a natural playing feel that will immediately impress even beginners. All components are mounted on the compact and height-adjustable MDS-MINI rack - ideal for children or small rooms.
The TD-02 sound module offers 16 drum kits covering different styles from rock to electronic. The coach function with five modes helps with practicing timing, accuracy and dynamics - including modes such as time control (easy/hard), silent count and auto up/down. An integrated metronome with variable speed (20-260 BPM), five rhythm types and 15 different sounds supports precise timing.
The TD-02K offers various connectivity options for the modern musician. The set can be connected directly to a computer via the USB port (type B) - for USB audio and MIDI. This allows you to record your sessions directly in a DAW or control virtual drum plug-ins. The USB audio function supports a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz (recording & playback in 2 channels) and offers additional modes with 48 kHz and 96 kHz (via converter).
A stereo headphone output and AUX input allow you to play along to backing tracks via smartphone or MP3 player. For even more wireless convenience, the optional BOSS Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adapter (BT-DUAL) can be used - ideal for wireless practicing with music or MIDI connection to music apps.
The TD-02K is particularly quiet in operation - thanks to the innovative impact-free kick pedal (KT-1), foot play is virtually silent. In combination with quiet mesh head retrofits (optionally available), the noise level can be further reduced when playing - perfect for practicing at home in a rented apartment or with roommates.
The compact dimensions (width: 1,000 mm, depth: 1,100 mm, height: 1,150 mm) make the TD-02K a space-saving set for living rooms, children's rooms or home studios. The low weight of just 12.1 kg also makes it easy to transport, set up and dismantle.
