The Roland TD-516 is the middle kit of the V-Drums 5 series and offers ambitious drummers a powerful and expandable e-drum system with modern digital pads and the versatile V51 module. Designed for studio, stage and intensive home practice, the TD-516 delivers professional sound, outstanding dynamics and future-proof connectivity - all packed into a robust, well thought-out setup.

With digital snare, digital hi-hat and digital ride, sensitive response, flexible expandability and wireless access to the Roland Cloud, the TD-516 opens up new dimensions of electronic drumming - for modern drummers with high standards.

Powerful V51 module with digital integration

At the heart of the TD-516 is the V51x module, which is based on the same sound engine as Roland's flagship V71 model and delivers an impressive range of multi-sampled sounds with realistic playability. Thanks to full compatibility with digital pads (PD-140DS, CY-18DR, VH-14D), the V51x is ready for detailed dynamics control and an acoustic set feel.

The TD-516 can be seamlessly integrated into your computer workflow via the DW Soundworks software. In addition, you have wireless access to sound packs, presets and content from the Roland Cloud, making the system future-proof and individually expandable.

This combination enables a dynamically precise playing feel that is otherwise only known from acoustic sets - including the finest articulations and complex playing techniques.

Expandable and flexible

The V51 module offers four additional trigger inputs (AUX 1-3, CRASH 2) as well as dedicated Digital Trigger In ports for future upgrades with additional digital pads. This allows you to customize your set and expand it in the long term - according to your playing style and musical requirements.

The MDS-Standard3 drum rack offers stability, flexible positioning options and easy mounting for a comfortable setup in any environment.
