The Roland TR-1000 Rhythm Creator is Roland's most advanced drum machine ever, combining the best of analog tradition and digital innovation. Designed with direct feedback from artists and producers, the TR-1000 delivers a flexible, powerful tool for modern music production and live performance. Whether you're designing beats, performing live or diving deep into sound design, the TR-1000 has everything you need to unleash your creativity.
With true analog circuitry and advanced ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology, the TR-1000 combines classic warmth with modern precision. It contains 16 faithfully reconstructed circuits from the legendary TR-808 and TR-909 as well as 75 ACB-based digital models. It also features FM drums, virtual analog synthesis and over 2,000 PCM and sample-based sounds for an extremely versatile sound spectrum - perfect for all genres from techno to hip-hop to pop.
With integrated stereo sampling, resampling, time stretching and slicing, the TR-1000 offers a fully equipped sample workstation. The internal memory comprises 64 GB, 46 GB of which is for your own content. Import WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC or M4A files and edit your samples directly in the device - all seamlessly integrated into the creative TR workflow.
The TR-1000 offers analog effects such as the new State Variable Filter (SVF) and Drive as well as digital classics such as Bit Crusher, Filter, Isolator, Pitch Delay or Saturator. Each track is equipped with individual effects, compressor, EQ, filter and LFO. Reverb, delay and master effects are also available - for precise sound shaping and lively performances.
Each track of the TR-1000 is an independent sound channel with its own sound generation, effects chain, sidechaining, signal routing and modulation options. Four tracks allow the combination of two sound generators - ideal for layering and creative sound experiments.
The modern TR sequencer combines classic TR-REC input with real-time recording, off-grid timing, motion recording and cycle definitions. You can play patterns forwards, backwards or oscillating, assign probabilities to individual steps and adjust the shuffle for each track individually. With the new snapshot function, you can save controller positions and call them up immediately via step buttons.
The ergonomic user interface with high-quality knobs, faders and RGB buttons offers direct access to all important parameters. The innovative morph slider allows radical transformations and transitions in real time - with individually storable morph settings for each pattern. This turns the TR-1000 into a real performance instrument.
With USB audio/MIDI, MIDI I/O, DIN sync, CV/trigger I/O, 10 freely configurable outputs and analog FX outputs, the TR-1000 can be seamlessly integrated into hybrid setups, modular systems and DAWs. There are also two audio inputs for sampling and effects processing as well as a headphone connection with separate volume control.
With the TR-1000 software, you can control the device directly on your computer, edit parameters graphically and manage your sound library. Updates, backups and sample transfers are conveniently carried out via USB or USB flash memory.
The TR-1000 is based on a powerful DSP and firmware platform that is prepared for future expansions. New sound engines, additional features and system updates can be easily integrated - a long-term investment in your musical future.
