Equipped with the same sound engine as the flagship V71, the V31 offers outstanding sound, state-of-the-art technology, wireless connectivity and in-depth editing functions for every musical requirement - from everyday practicing to professional recording.

Thanks to seamless integration with DW Soundworks software and access to a constant stream of new content via the Roland Cloud, the V31 is more than just a module - it's the heart of a growing ecosystem of modern e-drumming technology.

State-of-the-art sound engine in a compact housing

The V31 module uses the same powerful engine as the V71, offering over 1,000 high-quality instruments and more than 200 drum kits, over 70 of which are ready to play. The multi-sample library developed in collaboration with Drum Workshop (DW) delivers realistic sounds with round-robin technology and behavior modeling for natural articulations - free of artificial "machine gun" effects.

A highlight is the ability to import your own WAV samples (up to 24 minutes mono), which can be integrated in up to 3 layers per pad - ideal for personalized drum kits, backing sounds or special performance requirements.

Wireless freedom & cloud integration

Thanks to the integrated wireless adapter, the V31 enables wireless access to the Roland Cloud - new instrument expansions, kit packs and updates can be loaded directly onto the module via the Roland Cloud Connect app. A 6-month Roland Cloud Ultimate membership is included with purchase.

With Bluetooth Audio & MIDI, you can stream music or backing tracks directly from your smartphone and even communicate wirelessly with DAWs or apps - ideal for modern practicing and recording.

Intuitive operating concept with EZ Edit

The color display (4.3") and clear menu navigation make operation particularly easy. With the EZ Edit control, tuning, attenuation, instrument type and volume balance can be adjusted in no time at all - perfect for quick sound design.

If you want to go deeper, you will find extensive studio effects such as pad-specific EQs, transient processors, compressors, vintage multi-effects, room resonances and reverbs at the highest level.

The V31 module is fully compatible with Roland digital pads (snare, ride, hi-hat) and offers:
