The Roland V51 Drum Module is the control center of the V-Drums 5 series and combines modern sound technology with an intuitive workflow for ambitious drummers. It uses the same powerful sound engine as the flagship V71 and offers a wealth of professional features - from multi-layer DW samples and Bluetooth streaming to wireless cloud connectivity and studio effects. At the same time, the module remains clear and easy to use - perfect for live performances, home recording or intensive practicing.

With the V51, you get a modular system that grows with your requirements - thanks to expandable sounds, digital pad compatibility, comprehensive connections and integrated coaching mode. Includes: 6 months of Roland Cloud Ultimate and access to exclusive content such as DW Soundworks software and 100 interactive Melodics™ lessons.

Professional sound - quickly and individually configured

The V51 has more than 1,000 instruments and 200 drum kits (including over 70 presets) created in collaboration with Drum Workshop (DW). Thanks to Round Robin technology and Behavior Modeling, the multi-sample drums sound extremely lively - without artificial repetitions or abrupt dynamic jumps.

Each pad can be edited extensively - from layer EQs to simulating the room position. You can also import up to 500 of your own WAV samples and combine them in up to three layers per pad. Faders for kick, snare, toms, hi-hat, cymbals and ambience are available directly on the module for quick adjustments.

Cloud-ready & wirelessly expandable

Use the integrated wireless adapter to connect the V51 directly to the Roland Cloud Connect app. Here you can browse through sound packs, expansions and kit packs, preview them and load them directly into the module - without any cables or a computer. In addition, the module can be paired with your smartphone via Bluetooth® Audio to stream playbacks or drum tracks.

System updates can also be installed wirelessly. Alternatively, a USB-C connection is available, allowing you to use the V51 as a 32-channel audio interface and MIDI controller - class compliant or via the Roland driver.

Full control over your setup

With a total of three digital trigger inputs for snare, hi-hat and ride as well as four analog 6.3 mm trigger inputs and a DB-25 multi-pin output, the module offers maximum connection versatility. Two direct outs, two headphone connections, MIDI IN/OUT, Mix In and an additional footswitch input round off the features.

In addition, all audio signals can be recorded or played back via SD card - ideal for quick recording or playbacks.

The integrated Coach mode offers you classic training functions such as Time Check and Quiet Count - enhanced by tools such as:
