Description

The VH-10 V-Hi-Hat is based on a floating design with only one cymbal pad that can be attached to and used with a conventional acoustic hi-hat stand. Just like an acoustic hi-hat, the VH-10 provides natural rebound and familiar vibration characteristics for a familiar playing experience. Depending on how hard you depress the hi-hat pedal, the sound character varies between open and closed hi-hat. You can also use other hi-hat techniques, including semi-open playing or foot-splash effects. With the VH-10, you can even create the characteristic change in sound that occurs when you strike the hi-hat closed and open it directly afterwards. The sensors also differentiate between the Bow and Edge sections of the cymbal.
