The Schecter Signature Aaron Marshall AM-6 Tremolo Royal Sapphire electric guitar was developed in close collaboration with Aaron Marshall, the creative mind behind Instrumentalband Intervals. It combines modern construction, fine materials and maximum versatility - a real working instrument for demanding guitarists. Designed from the ground up as a reliable tool for stage and studio, the AM-6 impresses with its lightness, precision and wide tonal range. The clear goal: to create an instrument that performs in every musical situation.
The AM-6 is based on a slim body made of lime, a light tonewood known for its balanced sound structure. It offers the perfect balance between resonance and weight, making longer playing sessions comfortable. The bolt-on neck is made of one-piece roasted maple with additional carbon reinforcement - a construction method that ensures stability, durability and an excellent response.
The fingerboard, also made of roasted maple, ensures a tight response, high transparency and a direct playing feel. In combination with the Thin C neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, fast, precise playing across all positions is possible without any problems. The nut width of 42 mm enables comfortable fingering with optimum control over the instrument.
Two specially tuned pickups from the Schecter USA range provide the sound: the USA Solstice pickup is used on the bridge, which delivers assertive, aggressive tones - ideal for rhythmic riffing and solos with precision. The USA Equinox pickup sits in the neck area, offering warm, dynamic sounds with plenty of depth and expression. This combination enables a wide stylistic variety - from progressive metal passages to detailed clean parts.
In keeping with Aaron Marshall's playing style, the pickup combination is designed to fit flexibly into a wide variety of genres and playing techniques. Whether in complex, instrumental arrangements or clearly defined band contexts - the AM-6 delivers reliable sound quality with character in every situation.
The guitar is equipped with a Gotoh Vintage 2-point tremolo, which supports sensitive vibrato playing as well as stable intonation. The Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners offer fast and reliable tuning stability - a must for modern guitarists who rely on technical precision. The black hardware harmonizes perfectly with the Royal Sapphire finish and gives the instrument a classy, modern overall look.
The Schecter AM-6 is supplied with a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (.010-.046), which is ideal for a wide variety of playing techniques. In combination with the classic 25.5" scale length, the result is a balanced playing feel with plenty of dynamics and expression - ideal for fast leads and detailed rhythm playing.
