The Schecter Signature C-1 Rob Scallon, Dark Roast electric guitar is the result of a long-standing collaboration between the US musician and YouTuber Rob Scallon and Schecter. With over two million subscribers, Scallon is best known for his creative metal covers on unusual instruments. His versatility as an artist is also reflected in this signature model: the C-1 Rob Scallon was designed as a flexible, modern instrument that meets the highest demands in terms of sound and ergonomics.
The body is made of Swamp Ash, a wood known for its resonance and balanced sound. It delivers a clear, powerful tone with a pronounced attack - ideal for modern music styles where precision is required. The Satin Dark Roast finish underlines the elegant, understated look of the instrument and subtly accentuates the wood structure.
A special feature of the C-1 Rob Scallon is the mahogany neck-thru neck, which runs seamlessly through the entire body. In combination with the Ultra Access neck transition, this results in outstanding playability right up to the highest registers. The C-neck profile sits comfortably in the hand and offers optimum comfort for both rhythmic playing and technical solos.
The ebony fingerboard provides a tight, direct feel with high transparency and articulation. Equipped with 24 jumbo frets and a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm), the fingerboard is ideal for modern playing techniques such as tapping, shredding and complex chord voicings. The nut width of 42 mm offers enough space for differentiated playing without compromising on comfort.
When it comes to electronics, Rob Scallon's own choice of pickups is used on this model: the Schecter Diamond '78 Special on the bridge delivers a powerful, clearly defined sound with plenty of punch - ideal for aggressive riffs. The Diamond '78 on the neck provides warm, full sounds with character. Together they provide a versatile tonal palette that ranges from classic rock to modern metal sounds.
Equipped with a Hipshot Hardtail (.125) bridge with string-thru-body design, the guitar guarantees excellent vibration transmission and sustain. The Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners ensure precise tuning stability, even with intensive playing techniques. The satin black hardware complements the modern, minimalist appearance of the guitar and is as functional as it is durable.
The guitar comes from the factory with a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (.010-.046), which, in combination with the 25.5" scale length, ensures a balanced playing feel. This setup covers both rhythmic and soloing requirements - ideal for musicians looking for a flexible instrument for a wide range of styles.
