The Schecter Synyster GA SC Trans Black Burst Satin Acoustic Guitar is the signature acoustic model of Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates. This guitar combines a striking look with high-quality materials and professional electronics—ideal for musicians who want to impress with style and sound both on stage and in the studio. In a modern Grand Auditorium body style, it offers balanced tonal characteristics, comfortable playability, and a striking visual presence in the Trans Black Burst Satin finish.
The SYN GA SC features a rosewood body, known for its rich lows and clear highs. The solid spruce top ensures a direct response and a wide dynamic range—ideal for powerful strumming as well as delicate picking. This classic combination of tonewoods delivers a balanced sound with projection and definition.
The mahogany neck is crafted in a dovetail set-neck design, ensuring a stable connection between the neck and body. The Thin C neck profile, combined with a 25.5” (648 mm) scale length and a 43 mm nut width, offers high playability for a wide variety of playing techniques. The rosewood fingerboard enhances the guitar’s warm tone and complements its classic appearance.
Electrical pickup is provided by a Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup, which is built into the bridge and transmits the guitar’s natural tone precisely and noise-free. Control is handled by the Fishman Isys+ preamp built into the side of the guitar, which features volume, bass, and treble controls, an integrated tuner, and a phase switch. This allows for precise tone adjustment—whether for live performances or recordings.
Whether as a stage instrument for acoustic parts in rock sets, as a companion in the studio, or as a reliable tool for songwriting—the Synyster GA SC is incredibly versatile. Its high-quality construction, combined with the flexible Fishman system, makes it a true professional acoustic guitar with character and depth of sound.
The guitar is equipped with Grover tuners, which ensure precise tuning and smooth operation. The rosewood bridge harmonizes perfectly with the fretboard and provides a stable foundation for optimal string action and resonance. The Trans Black Burst Satin finish elegantly highlights the wood’s grain and creates a distinctive look—perfectly matching Synyster Gates’ signature style.
With 20 medium frets, a synthetic bone nut, and meticulous craftsmanship throughout, the Schecter Synyster GA SC delivers an all-around impressive performance. It is designed for guitarists seeking a powerful, stage-ready acoustic guitar—distinctive in sound, versatile in application, and high-quality in construction.
