The Sennheiser E 914 is a premium condenser microphone designed specifically for the demanding requirements of studio recording, live concerts and professional sound projects. With its impressive sound quality, versatility and robust construction, the E 914 is the perfect choice for demanding sound engineers and musicians who want to achieve excellent results.
Thanks to its exceptional sound characteristics, the E 914 is ideal for a wide range of applications. Whether acoustic guitars, cymbals, percussion, orchestras or pianos - this microphone delivers a lively, clear and precise sound that meets the highest demands. It is the ideal solution for high-quality studio recordings and sophisticated concert sound reinforcement.
For decades, Sennheiser has been one of the leading brands in audio technology, known for innovative products and outstanding sound quality. The E 914 continues this tradition and offers professionals a reliable tool that impresses with its precision and durability.
The E 914 works with a permanently polarized condenser transducer principle and covers an impressive transmission range of 20 to 20,000 Hz. With a cardioid polar pattern, it focuses precisely on the sound source while minimizing unwanted ambient noise. The three-stage switchable pre-attenuation (-10 dB, -20 dB) and the bass roll-off offer additional control for adapting to different recording conditions.
The microphone handles very high sound pressure levels, making it ideal for dynamic sources such as cymbals and percussion. The free-field idle transmission factor is 12 mV/Pa (4 mV/Pa or 1.2 mV/Pa with pre-attenuation), which ensures accurate signal transmission. Phantom power requires 48 V/2.2 mA, which makes the microphone flexible for use in professional environments.
The E 914 is robustly built and weighs 440 g. With a length of 128.5 mm and a diameter of 60 mm, it is compact and easy to handle. The microphone comes with a microphone stand clamp, a windscreen and a practical bag for easy handling and transportation. The connection is made via a standardized XLR-3 connector, which can be used in all professional audio setups.
The Sennheiser E 914 offers a unique combination of fidelity, flexibility and robustness. It is the ideal choice for professional sound recording and demanding live applications. With its versatility and extensive features, it meets the requirements of musicians, sound engineers and audio professionals alike.
