The new Evolution Wireless Digital System from Sennheiser opens up completely new possibilities. It offers digital transmissions in the UHF band, without noise, interference and pops, with crystal clear sound and optimal scalability. All system settings are operable via iOS or Android app, bypassing cumbersome navigation. Other great features include automatic setups and reliable connection setup in seconds. Up to 2240 selectable frequencies for operating up to 24 wireless systems, are available per frequency range. The Sennheiser U1/5 (823.2-831.8 / 863.2-864.8 MHz) consists of a stationary EW-D EM Rack Receiver, a digital EW-DSK bodypack transmitter and the ME 2 clip-on microphone and is particularly suitable for speakers. The omnidirectional clip-on microphone has an optimized audio transmission range for even better speech intelligibility. Sennheiser's system makes use of the equidistant frequency grid, this has only been used in Sennheiser's high-end Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 systems until now. This makes complex frequency coordination a thing of the past. Thus, even laymen of radio technology can really quickly and easily operate and adjust the new system. All settings are made via the display and the function keys.
