Its spherical polar pattern makes the MKH 8020 the ideal main microphone for AB stereophony, Decca Tree recordings or use in an OSS Jecklin Disk. It plays out its great quality especially in acoustically good rooms. With a frequency response down to 10 Hz, the MKH 8020 is perfect for recording instruments such as organ, grand piano and double bass. The capsule design of the MKH 8020 is also optimized for an exceptionally uniform directional pattern.
