Design & Build Quality

Crafted from sturdy metal and “Made in Germany”—the SKM-AVX-835-S stands out for its professional build quality and durability. The handheld transmitter fits comfortably in the hand, while the mute function located directly on the microphone allows for control over the signal at any time.

Technical Features & Special Functions

Intuitive Operation & Smart Functionality

Thanks to auto-frequency management and a license-free frequency range (1880–1930 MHz), setup takes just seconds. The connection to the AVX receiver is established automatically and protected by AES-256 encryption. Phantom power (P48) and the ultra-compact XLR receiver make the system particularly DSLR-friendly.

Sound Quality & Range

With a sampling rate of 24-bit / 48 kHz, a dynamic range of over 120 dB(A), and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the system delivers crystal-clear recordings without compression. Feedback and background noise are effectively minimized by the cardioid polar pattern.

Target Audience & Applications

Ideal for professional video productions, interviews, reports, events, and streaming. The system is particularly popular among journalists, vloggers, and film crews who rely on portable, user-friendly technology with outstanding sound quality.
