The Trigon-6 is Sequential's polyphonic version of the classic, thick and creamy analog 3-oscillator-plus-ladder-filter sound that defined the early days of the synthesizer era. It's a sound that bridges genres and styles - now refined and redefined with Sequential's own modern twist.

Completely new filter and oscillator design.

At the heart of the Trigon 6 sound are three newly designed voltage-controlled oscillators (with triangle, saw and pulse waves) and an improved version of the ladder filter Sequential developed for its Pro 3 monosynthesizer. The switchable 2/4-pole resonant filter design features dedicated Drive and Feedback controls that allow you to effortlessly change the sound from fat and crunchy to silky and smooth with a simple turn of the knob.

The perfect package

The Trigon-6 combines the best features of Sequential's acclaimed Prophet-6 and OB-6 synthesizers - 6-voice polyphony, unmatched playability, easy programmability and small footprint - in a four-octave, semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and channel aftertouch. What sets it apart from its siblings is its distinctive "3-oscillators-through-a-ladder-filter" punch. It raises the bar for what the ideal power poly can and should be.

Rounding out the overall picture

Of course, the Trigon-6 has the full range of Sequential's must-have sound-shaping features, including super-fast envelopes, a syncable LFO with multiple waveforms and destinations, a polyphonic step sequencer, and an arpeggiator. Best of all, you can control these functions directly with the knobs on the front of the Trigon-6. And the pre-made palette of 500 factory and 500 user presets offers classic basses, leads, and pads to get any project going.

More power features

Sequential's classic Poly Mod is also present, but with enhancements for creative sound design. Modulation sources include the filter envelope and Oscillator 3 (both with bipolar control). Targets include oscillator 1, 2 and 3 frequency, oscillator 1, 2 and 3 pulse width, filter cutoff and feedback. Unison mode is also available, with configurable number of voices (1-6 voices for up to 18 simultaneous oscillators) and key modes.

Dual Effects

The dual effects section offers studio-quality reverbs, delays (standard and BBD), chorus, flanger, phaser and ring modulator. The independent stereo distortion effect adds aggressiveness when needed and is 100% analog.

Adjustable vintage character

To add even more classic, organic warmth to an already classic synth, there's the Vintage knob, which allows variations in calibration and component behavior from voice to voice. Vintage behavior can be adjusted from subtle to extreme to emulate the stability of a perfect modern instrument or an outdated relic.
