Description

Shure WL185M Lavalier Microphone, Cardioid, Discreet, LM3 Connector

Are you looking for a professional lavalier microphone that can be worn discreetly while delivering clear, precise voice transmission? The Shure WL185M is a high-quality cardioid lavalier microphone designed specifically for use with compatible wireless bodypack transmitters.

Whether for presentations, hosting, theater performances, or interviews—this compact lavalier microphone delivers excellent speech intelligibility while remaining visually unobtrusive in the background.

Clear speech transmission thanks to cardioid polar pattern

The WL185M features a condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. This ensures that voices are captured clearly and directly, while reducing side noise. The result is exceptionally clear and low-noise reproduction for both speech and vocals.

Compared to the original WL18X series, the microphone has been shortened by 8 mm and offers an extended dynamic range, as well as an improved maximum sound pressure level and lower self-noise.

Flexible and unobtrusive use

The lavalier microphone is specifically designed for discreet placement on speakers, presenters, or performers. The innovative clip can be rotated in 90-degree increments, allowing for precise alignment of the microphone.

Thanks to its compact design and high-quality construction, the WL185M is ideal for professional applications in live events, lectures, theater, or film and video productions.

Professional accessories included

The microphone comes with a practical selection of accessories, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. A clip-on windscreen reduces distracting wind and breath noise, while the included zippered pouch ensures safe transport.
