The Sigma 000M-1E-MFP acoustic guitar is a modern acoustic guitar that combines classic craftsmanship with an eye-catching aesthetic. The Sigma Guitars range was launched in 1970 by C. F. Martin & Co. to bring affordable guitars with high-quality sound characteristics to the market. Manufactured in Japan at the time, the brand later expanded to Korea and Taiwan. Today, Sigma is being revived by the German AMI GmbH, which aims to offer first-class acoustic guitars in the Martin tradition at fair prices. The 000M-1E-MFP continues this tradition, offering high quality and great sound for musicians of all levels.
The body of the Sigma 000M-1E-MFP features the 000-14 Fret design, a shape known for its focused, clear sound and ideal for fingerstyle playing and acoustic solos. The solid Sitka spruce top provides excellent resonance and powerful sound projection, while mahogany back and sides contribute a warm, balanced tone color. This combination of woods offers an ideal mix of brightness and depth, making the guitar the perfect choice for both stage use and practicing at home.
The mahogany neck with a flat profile offers a comfortable playing experience, which is complemented by the nut width of 42.9 mm and the Micarta fingerboard. Micarta, a durable composite material, ensures a smooth playing feel and excellent haptics. The 25.4 inch (645 mm) scale length contributes to a powerful, clear sound and makes the string tension ideal for expressive playing and techniques such as bending.
The Sigma 000M-1E-MFP is equipped with a Fishman Presys II pickup system, which offers excellent sound reproduction with amplification. The system offers versatile tone control options and features an integrated tuner that makes it easy to tune the guitar on the road or on stage. Thanks to the Fishman electronics, the 000M-1E-MFP is ideal for both acoustic and amplified performances.
The chrome-plated diecast tuners of the L-400 ensure reliable tuning stability and durability. The guitar is also strung with D'Addario EXP16 strings, which impress with their durability and tonal brilliance and are a perfect match for the 000M-1E-MFP.
