It is the largest model in the Solventuri lineup and impresses with its precise intonation, high-quality materials, and versatile applications—from music education and music therapy to creative use in bands of various genres.
Thanks to its compact design and relatively light weight, the glockenspiel is easy to transport. This makes it ideal for flexible applications—whether in the classroom, the recording studio, a daycare center, or during live performances. The combination of a sturdy wooden resonance chamber and precisely tuned aluminum bars ensures a warm, clear, and resonant sound that carries well in a wide variety of environments.
The Solventuri M-CSb is ideally suited for use in school music classes as well as in early music education. Its clear arrangement of bars and responsive tone make it easy for children to play—regardless of prior musical experience. At the same time, thanks to its precise 440 Hz tuning, the instrument also meets the demands of professional musicians, e.g., in an ensemble or band setting.
In music therapy, the glockenspiel offers a gentle, motivating sound quality that can trigger and accompany emotional processes. The cream-colored aluminum bars have a friendly and understated appearance and blend harmoniously into any environment.
The 25 bars are made of aluminum and are chromatically tuned—from G2 to F#4. This range covers a broad musical spectrum and allows for both melodic playing and harmonic accompaniment. The bars are 20 mm wide and 5 mm thick—dimensions that ensure a good balance between richness of tone and responsiveness.
The soundbox is made of Ayous wood, which impresses with its resonant properties and stable structure. The design is engineered to bring out the best in the sound—clear, well-defined, and rich in overtones. The instrument is tuned to the standard pitch of 440 Hz, allowing it to blend seamlessly with other instruments.
The package includes a pair of beech wood mallets—perfectly matched to the playing feel and tonal character of this instrument.
With a length of 46.5 cm, the glockenspiel is easy to transport and quick to set up. The width varies from 33 cm on the left side to 19.5 cm on the right side—matching the arrangement of the chimes of varying lengths. The height of the upper section is 6 cm, while the lower section is 4.5 cm high—an ergonomically comfortable playing height that allows for playing both on a table and on your lap.
Thanks to these compact dimensions, the Solventuri M-CSb is particularly well-suited for situations where portability, quick setup, and intuitive operation are required.
