The LIVEN Lofi-12 has a 16bit - 12kHz/24kHz sampling engine with the 12bit sampler mode that transforms any sound into a pleasant lo-fi sound. As with many legendary samplers released in the late 80's, this is a true low-bit, low-sampling sound that cannot be authentically achieved with bit crusher effects and other modern sound degradation tools. Up to 4 seconds of sampling per sample slot (2 seconds of sampling in 24kHz mode). Start and end point trimming, sustain looping with start and end point adjustment, pitch adjustment, reverse playback, filtering and LFO modulation are available.
Sampled sounds are automatically assigned to the keyboard and can be played at different pitches
The sounds sampled by the LIVEN Lofi-12 are automatically assigned to the keyboard and can be easily played at different pitches. The well-known vintage sampler technique, where a 33 RPM record is sampled at 45 RPM and then slowed down, creates the gritty lo-fi sound often heard in 90s hip-hop. The LIVEN Lofi-12 makes it easy to recreate that sound!
80 carefully selected lo-fi preset sounds are included. The Laid-back control delays the start time of the sound, making it easy to create drunken beats. The LIVEN Lofi-12's Laid-back control lets you delay the start of the selected sampled sound. For example, you can slightly delay the snare drum sound in your drum pattern, or use the parameter lock function to individually move the sound timing back for each step
Equipped with a powerful 4-track step sequencer, for which the LIVEN series is known
The LIVEN Lofi-12 is equipped with the powerful 4-track step sequencer for which the LIVEN XFM has a reputation. You can easily create a four-part song by selecting a sampled sound for each track. The Sound Lock function lets you switch sampled sounds for each phrase or sequencer step, so you can use an almost infinite combination of sounds within a single song
Independent track effects [11 types] and master reverbs [8 types].
The LIVEN Lofi-12 features independent effects on all four tracks. You can choose from ten effect types from the LIVEN series, and effect parameters can be gradually automated using the Parameter Lock function. In addition, seven high-quality reverb types are included as master reverb. The send portion can be adjusted for each track for mixing purposes
