The Soundcraft MFX serial consists of three powerful models for applications that tops the possibilities of the EFX mixing desks. The three variations offer 8, 12 or 20 mono channels and 2 stereo channels each. The MFXi owns a 3-band equalizer with tunable middles, 3 Aux busses, two sub groups, insert pins for the channels and a 10-LED-chain. The 60mm fader, jack plugs (Neutrik) and professional XLR pins are all of a good quality and reliable.
The Lexicon Effect section offers a high-quality 24-Bit processor – the same audio DNA processor that is used for the Lexicon MX500 as well. 32 effect presets can be changed in three parameters and be stored.
In the MFX serial the established GB30 preamplifier design was used what makes the preamplifier extremely resistant against override. A phantom powering powers a condenser microphone of every type with +48V and the used components of the MFX own low tolerances. Through that an accurate adjustment can be reached that is especially important for the pre-amplifying and equalizing. With all these features the Soundcraft MFX is perfect for live amplifying, fixed installations and recording.
