The new Urei 1603 is an optimal arranged console for club installations and performing DJs. The legendary UREI sound , the up-to-date design and the high-class manifacturing quality are pushing the console to a world wide standard.
The assembly can take place as desktop or in the table. The adapter is rotatable to 90° so that the adapters point backward and downward. The UREI 1603 is 19 inches habile.
Perfect pre-listening is possible for channel and mix signals as well as for aux-send and aux-reutrn signals . The split and flip function, an EQ for the headphones and the choice between cue and mix signal leaves nothing to be desired.
The UREI 1603 offers four input channels with connection opportunities for microphones (XLR), phono/turntable and line level (e. p. for a CD-player) in every channel. The pre-equalization at the phono input can get deactivated so that there can be also a CD-player connected. Therefore the UREI 1603 has all in all 4 microphone and 8 phono/line inputs. As the Aux-section has own jacks on the top of the console no channels have to be immolated.
The channels 2 - 4 are arranged with a 3-band isolator EQ which offers a control range from full cut up to +6 dB. Channel 1 which is usually used for microhpone announcements has a +/- 12 dB EQ and an additional insert jack. The microphone signal of channel 1 can be muted to avoid feedback for the DJ Booth.
The crossfader is an high-class VCA-fader. It allows a stepless adjustment of diefferent fader curves and guarantees a precise adjustment without sidetones. The output section is not less comfortable. Symmetrical XLR jacks and unsymmetrical cinch (RCA) jacks as master and booth output as well as 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm lathc inputs for headphones make the grade.
Besides a 3-coloured channel-LED is available which shows singal, beat and peak, a 10-segments LED-chain for the outputs, Booth-Output configuration (stereo, left only, right only, mono) as well as an EQ for the booth-output.
Especially for club installations ZREI has the following features integrated: the external mute interface can mute the music signals at fire alarm and leaves the microphone channel (1) open for announcements. Additional the line inputs can be lowered by 10 dB to obviate clipping in the input channels. Alternatively the input level can be lifted by 14 dB. Therewith signals from MP3-players can be replayed without problems.
