Thanks to its well-thought-out features, clear tone, and high-quality craftsmanship, this instrument is an ideal companion for orchestral performances, solo recitals, or lessons. With its combination of a robust brass body, stainless steel valves, and comfortable adjustment options, the STAGG WS-TR255S C trumpet offers a playing experience that is unmatched in this price range. Balanced resistance, good response, and a clean tone make it the top choice for players looking to advance their skills.
STAGG is an established brand in the musical instrument industry, distinguished in particular by its excellent value for money. The Belgian company has made it its mission to make high-quality musical instruments accessible to players of all skill levels—from beginners and students to semiprofessional musicians. The STAGG WS-TR255S C Trumpet is a prime example of this concept: solidly crafted, musically compelling, and yet affordable.
All STAGG instruments undergo careful quality control before shipment. The WS-TR255S C trumpet is delivered workshop-tested, which means it is prepared for playing in a specialized workshop before shipping. This ensures musicians receive an instrument that is ready to use immediately and provides enjoyment right from the start.
The STAGG WS-TR255S C trumpet impresses with its well-thought-out design and practical features. The body is made entirely of brass and features a clear lacquer finish. This not only protects the material but also gives the instrument an attractive, glossy appearance. The brass mouthpipe offers excellent playability and a warm tone—ideal for classical repertoire or ensemble performances.
A key feature of the trumpet is its high-quality stainless steel valves. These guarantee a long service life, quick response, and minimize the risk of sticking with regular maintenance. The valves operate precisely and smoothly—a crucial factor for tone control and dynamic playing.
The ML bore (Medium Large) with a diameter of 11.66 mm ensures balanced blowing resistance, offering a comfortable playing experience for both beginners and experienced players. The 125-mm brass bell contributes to the richness and projection of the sound without making it too sharp. This makes the trumpet suitable for both orchestral use and solo performances.
Ergonomic playing aids, such as the permanently mounted thumb rest on the first valve slide and the adjustable finger ring on the third valve slide, allow for a comfortable hand position and quick intonation correction while playing. Two water keys make it easy to remove condensation and ensure a consistently clean playing experience.
The package includes a silver-plated 7C mouthpiece—a tried-and-true model for beginners and advanced players alike. With its medium cup and balanced rim, it offers control, comfort, and versatility in a variety of musical contexts. The instrument is delivered ready to play and can be used immediately.
The STAGG WS-TR255S C Trumpet offers remarkable value for the price and is ideal for anyone looking for a reliable C trumpet with good intonation and comfortable playability. Its robust construction makes it a durable companion for everyday rehearsals, on stage, or in the classroom.
This model is an especially attractive solution for classical musicians who want to play in C without transposition—such as in wind orchestras, chamber music groups, or church music ensembles. The precise intonation and clean response support confident playing right from the start.
With the STAGG WS-TR255S, you’re not only getting a great-sounding and visually appealing instrument, but also a product designed for longevity. The workshop-inspected delivery ensures that you receive an instrument that is optimally adjusted—with no further adjustments needed. This makes this model ideal for school settings or as a second instrument for advanced musicians.
