The Stedman Proscreen XL features a modern and patented pop filter design with a 15 centimeter filter and an ultra-fine rubber surround that delivers perfect sound quality and does not interfere with vocal recordings in any way. Thanks to the extended clamp and adjustable gooseneck, mounting the Proscreen XL is a breeze. The Proscreen pop filter is far more effective than conventional fabric pop filters because it directs the airflow downwards, away from the microphone capsule, instead of simply dispersing it. Even with very close pickup or vocals, no popping "P's" or "B's" can reach the microphone. The large openings of the metal pop filter ensure that vocals can reach the microphone unhindered and uncolored and that important details of every recording are preserved unaltered.
The patented Proscreen filter material and the metal alloy of the clamp are powder-coated and the gooseneck is additionally covered with a hard-wearing vinyl shrink material - this not only protects against wear and tear, but also reduces disturbing noise during adjustment.
