Description

The US-20x20 is the new flagship in the Tascam series of interfaces and another sign of our passion for audio processing. This interface is intended for use in professional recording facilities or project studios and supports sampling rates up to 192 kHz, enabled by USB 3.0, a leading transfer standard for transferring data to and from a computer. Special features such as the operation as a standalone microphone preamp or mixer make the US-20x20 a very versatile tool - far beyond its use as an interface for multi-track recording.

Microphone preamps are the key to the highest audio quality. The eight Ultra HDDA microphone preamps developed by Tascam have an equivalent input noise (ON) of -125 dBu. 20 dB overdrive reserve in the microphone and line inputs provide sufficient safety for overdrive-free recordings even at high level peaks of drums and instruments.

Thanks to a powerful Blackfin processor, the US-20x20 offers a well-equipped DSP mixer with EQ, compression and reverb for each channel. The processor not only impresses with its dynamic processing and effects, but also enables multi-channel transmission via USB 3.0 for work in the studio.
