There are many ways to get an acceptable acoustic guitar sound. But why settle for acceptable when you can be inspired? If you feel that using a DI is good enough and you don't think you need effects, consider this:
A good sound enhances your playing, which triggers inspiration and stimulates creativity. Whether you have a €200 or €2000 guitar, the Acoustic Fly Rig will make it sound bigger, fuller and warmer. You'll easily find tones that make you want to play all night long. Acoustic Fly Rig is packed with useful features: Fully analog SansAmp, parametric EQ, boost, compressor, tap tempo delay, independent reverb. And it fits in your gig bag. So why settle for a DI? All Fly Rigs in the series are multifunctional for recording and live performances (with an amplifier or directly to the PA) and exceptionally versatile. Despite its name, the Acoustic Fly Rig is also great for electric guitar and bass if you want clean tones for jazz, country and blues. From the bedroom to the stadium, the Acoustic Fly Rig provides "round-the-clock ease and confidence for any gig, anywhere and everywhere you perform.
Sansamp
The fully analog SansAmp is, of course, its centerpiece. Pivoting, semi-parametric, active EQ controls provide professional fine-tuning for any situation. There is a notch filter, controllable from 70 Hz to 350 Hz, which reduces sensitivity to feedback caused by the low resonant frequencies of acoustic guitars. A low-pass filter, controllable from 16 kHz to 1.5 kHz, filters out unwanted frequencies and artifacts.
Boost
Independent boost function, up to approx. 12dB, for solos. Includes a wide midrange boost for improved clarity.
COMP
COMP, for compression, uses old-school FET-based technology that is inherently warmer, more transparent and more musical.
Reverb
The reverb function emulates the rich ambience of open spaces, from rooms to halls.
DLA/CHR
DLA emulates a warm-sounding analog delay. It features time and repeat controls and a dedicated tap tempo footswitch. CHR is a preset chorus based on pitch-shifting technology for a more natural, 12-string sound.
Tuner
The tuner is located within the EFX section. Simply press and hold the TAP/TUNER footswitch to engage the tuner, which also mutes the signal path.
