First released in 2008, the SansAmp Character Series was designed to showcase infamous amplifiers from different eras. Thanks to the simple operation of only a few buttons, you could create the sounds you were looking for without any problems in no time and create your own sounds.

The 2-channel pedals of the Character Plus series are easy to use and have a wealth of controls. They feature the patented, 100% analog SansAmp technology. By simply turning a knob, you can explore and customize different eras within each amp style. Each of the continuously adjustable Character knobs cycles through an entire sound range, spanning decades of sounds. The Character, EQ controls and speaker simulation are individually tuned to reflect the specific character traits of each amp style. The Character Plus Series pedals offer a high level of flexibility and value at an affordable price. Whether you're frugal or flamboyant, you can focus on one pedal that's your personal favorite, or collect them all - and trade them with your friends!

• Below 12 o'clock sets the tone of a top boost with knobs at 9:00 o'clock, for a grittier clean sound and warm overdrive tones

• Range of settings with CHAR B:
• Below 12 o'clock produces the tone of a top boost with controls at 3:00 for a full clean sound with plenty of bass and treble
• Approaching 12 o'clock brings classic British mids into play
• Exceeding the 12 o'clock position brings the characteristic sound of the "Woman Tone"
• Turned up full, the low mids are boosted for an AC30-like sound without the top boost
• Turning it up full adds the crackle of upper mids from pushed Alnico speakers

• Flat at 12 o'clock
• Up to 12 dB of treble boost when turned clockwise for a brighter, louder, edgier vintage sound of the 60s and 70s.
• Up to 12 dB of mid-range boost when turned counter-clockwise to tighten up distortion, rhythm and lead sounds and create a more modern vibe.
