The original SansAmp Character Series was introduced in 2008. These pedals commemorated a series of eras within specific amp personalities, of which there were 8 in total. By simply turning a few knobs, you could create the most desirable tones and create your own hot rod. From rare vintage classics to roaring modern icons, each variant came in its own distinctive voicings.

The 2-channel Character Plus Series pedals are easy to use and feature a wealth of controls. They feature the patented, 100% analog SansAmp technology. By simply turning a knob, you can explore and customize different eras within each amp style. Each of the continuously adjustable Character knobs cycles through an entire sound range, spanning decades of sounds. The Character, EQ controls and speaker simulation are individually tuned to reflect the specific character traits of each amp style. The Character Plus Series pedals offer a high level of flexibility and value at an affordable price. Whether you're frugal or flamboyant, you can focus on one pedal that's your personal favorite, or collect them all - and trade them with your friends!

• In distorted mode, the tone transitions to a warmer bass range
• Around 12 o'clock, it goes blonde, with more of everything - more bass, more midrange, and more treble
• Above 12 o'clock, it goes into the tweed era with a pronounced midrange punch
• Turned up full, you get excellent lead sounds
• OVERDRIVE knob to adjust the overall amount of drive. Strong interaction with the level of your guitar
