The Union Audio ORBIT.6 is an uncompromising 6-channel rotary rackmount mixer for discerning vinyl DJs, audiophile sound aesthetes and high-end club installations. Designed by Andy Rigby-Jones and manufactured in Cornwall, UK, the ORBIT.6 combines fully discrete analog technology with an integrated tube stage per channel for an exceptionally warm, dynamic and detailed sound.

Fully discrete signal path & tube stages

Each of the six channels has its own valve stage with ECC82 (12AU7) dual triode. The fully discrete signal path - from input to output - ensures maximum transparency and musical depth. With an overall distortion factor of just 0.008 % and a dynamic range of 115 dB, the ORBIT.6 delivers audiophile performance at reference level.

Heavy-Damped Rotary Fader & precise control

The patented Heavy-Damped Rotary technology gives the faders a velvety, precise rotary feel that remains constant for years. Each channel is also equipped with a high-pass filter and dedicated aux send for maximum creative control.

Master isolator & analog VU meter

The master section features a 3-band EQ / isolator with crossover frequencies at 320 Hz and 3800 Hz. High-quality, custom-made VU meters provide precise visual level control. The Booth-Out has its own HF/LF filtering (-3 dB at 100 Hz / 5 kHz).

Extensive connection options

The ORBIT.6 offers 4 phono and 8 line inputs (RCA), balanced XLR master and booth outputs, record out, master insert, aux send/return and 6 direct outs (per channel). The powerful headphone output delivers 1 W RMS at 40 ohms - ideal for precise monitoring.

Hybrid Linear PSU & premium processing

The external Hybrid Linear PSU ensures a stable power supply. Short-circuit and overvoltage protection are indicated by status LEDs (green / amber / red). The 6 mm thick aluminium front panel (5083) is glass bead blasted and black anodized - combined with a robust steel housing for maximum durability.
