UAD-2 OCTO Core offers Universal Audio's most powerful PCIe processor card, providing producers and audio engineers with massive power to use UAD Powered plug-ins on Mac or PC. When programming UAD-2 plug-ins, Universal Audio DSP developers work hand in hand with the manufacturers of the original hardware and use their exact schematics, reference devices, and experienced ears to create true-to-original plug-ins with the warmth and harmonic structure of classic analog technology down to the finest detail.

UAD-2 OCTO Core has eight SHARC processors and can be easily integrated into any desktop computer or compatible expansion chassis with a PCIe interface - giving your Mac or PC a significant boost in audio quality and additional processing power for mixing.

UAD-2 OCTO Core includes the Universal Audio "Analog Classics" plug-in bundle and also provides access to popular UAD plug-in titles from Ampex, Manley, Lexicon, EMT, Empirical Labs, Neve, MXR, Roland, Fairchild, Harrison, Little Labs, Studer, SSL and other brands (sold separately).

Full Mac and Windows compatibility with support for VST, Audio Units, and RTAS formats allows UAD-2 OCTO Core to be used flexibly: Simply install the software, install the PCIe card, and you're ready to mix with some of the best effect plug-ins in the world.
