Warwick’s DS series stands for maximum flexibility and a modern sound concept. The DS 300 fits seamlessly into this lineup: Two fully independent channels, each with its own gain and 4-band EQ—including switchable midrange frequencies—allow you to manage different tone characteristics simultaneously—ideal for different basses or playing styles. Added to this is a built-in compressor with Amount and Level controls, as well as a convenient tuner function with a visual display. This means the perfect sound isn’t just possible—it’s quickly and precisely accessible at any time.
The Warwick DS 300 delivers 300 watts into 4 ohms or 180 watts into 8 ohms—making it suitable for medium-sized stages as well as for the studio or rehearsal room. The Class D power amplifier ensures high efficiency and low weight. Weighing just 3.32 kg, the amplifier remains easily portable without compromising on performance. Its sturdy construction makes it a reliable companion for everyday professional use.
The front panel offers a variety of practical control options: Each of the two channels features tandem controls for Gain, Bass, Lo Mid, Hi Mid, Treble, and Volume. Additionally, the Lo Mid and Hi Mid can be adjusted to their effective frequencies via separate FREQ switches—ideal for even more precise tone shaping. The channel selector switch, which includes an LED indicator, allows you to quickly switch between channels.
Other front-panel features include a separate switch for the built-in compressor, which is adjusted via Amount/Level; a Bluetooth switch for wireless connectivity; a tuner switch with its own display; and a CLIP LED for level monitoring. The MUTE switch allows for silent switching or pauses, while the headphone output (3.5 mm stereo) enables quiet practice. Two input jacks (6.35 mm) allow for the simultaneous connection of two instruments.
On the back panel, the DS 300 impresses with a wide range of connections: AUX-IN (3.5 mm stereo) for playing along, a parallel effects loop with SEND/RETURN (6.35 mm) including separate level control, a balanced XLR DI OUT with ground lift, and a pre/post EQ switch for studio applications. The line out (6.35 mm mono) can be switched between full-range and bi-amp modes.
Additional highlights: a cab emulator selector switch with three modes + OFF, two Speaker Twist speaker jacks for secure cabinet connection, a USB-B interface for recording, a footswitch jack for external channel and compressor control, a power switch, and a voltage selector (120/240 VAC) for worldwide use. Power is supplied via an IEC power connector. The unit is available as a 230 V EU version with a matching power cable.
