Inside the Warwick MC 300 Multiconnect Bass Amp Head with USB Interface 300 Watt is a powerful Class D power amplifier that delivers 300 watts into 4 ohms or 180 watts into 8 ohms—enough power for small to medium-sized stages and more than sufficient for studio applications. The single-channel design with a precise 4-band EQ (±15 dB cut/boost per band) allows for detailed tone shaping. The controls on the front panel adjust gain, volume, and frequency ranges arranged in tandem: Bass/Lo Mid and Hi Mid/Treble.
The control panel also features numerous additional functions: a MUTE switch, an LED CLIP indicator, a switch for enabling Bluetooth, a dedicated TUNER switch, and an integrated tuner display ensure convenient control in any situation. Additionally, a headphone output (3.5 mm stereo) is included for silent practice.
The back panel of the MC 300 impresses with its enormous connectivity flexibility. In addition to the power switch and the USB-B port for connecting to a computer, the unit offers an AUX-IN (3.5 mm), SEND and RETURN jacks for a parallel effects loop with separate level control, a balanced XLR DI OUT with ground lift and pre/post EQ switch, and a line out with a full-range/bi-amp switch. A Speaker Twist jack is available for connecting speakers. Thanks to the voltage selector switch and IEC cable connection, the amplifier can also be used internationally without any problems (mains voltage 120–240 VAC).
