Yamaha CLP-645 B Schwarz Digitalpiano Product Details

Description

At the touch of a button, you have the sound of two world-famous concert grand pianos ready to play in your CLP piano. So you always have the best choice, no matter what music you want to play. With much more than sampling, the CLP-600 Series reproduces the Yamaha CFX and legendary Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos down to the last detail.

Yamaha's flagship among concert grand pianos, the 2.75m long CFX produces fresh treble and powerful bass in a sound that reaches into the smallest corners of a concert hall. The CFX was played by the winner of the prestigious International Chopin Competition in 2010 and has since gained attention as one of the greatest concert grand pianos of our time.

Clavinova is an innovative digital piano series that has always been looking for the feel and sound of a concert grand piano, the ultimate symbol for pianists. This authentic concert grand experience is the result of the knowledge and expertise that Yamaha has gained in more than 125 years of piano building experience. Always using the latest technology, Clavinova pianos provide an inviting playing experience for pianists of all levels. They recreate the touch and sound of a concert grand piano, creating a seamless transition from digital piano to acoustic instrument.

The sound of a concert grand is created by the vibration of the entire body, a sustain that surrounds the listener with sound. This phenomenon is perfectly reproduced by the improved Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM) technology. The original VRM technology calculates the status of all strings of each of the 88 notes in real time from one key to the next, taking into account the time and depth of the pedal pressed. The improved VRM now also calculates the aliquot resonance in the upper octaves and the full resonance of the resonance field, rim and frame. This technology enables a vivid, bright, rich expression that represents the limitless number of factors that are so important for a piano performance.
