A 76-key keyboard (a conventional piano has 88 keys) that lets you articulate piano pieces with better authenticity without taking up much space. Although the keys have the same texture as those of a piano, the keyboard feels lighter than a conventional piano keyboard, making it much easier for beginners to get started. You can also use headphones with the Piaggero if you don't want to disturb people around you with your playing.

The name "Piaggero" of the NP series combines "piano" with the word "leggero", a musical term whose meaning is "light". As the name implies, the NP-35 is extremely lightweight even for a portable keyboard, so you can take it anywhere. The Piaggero reproduces the sound of the CFIIIS Yamaha concert grand piano. The sound was sampled from a grand piano with a clear, transparent tone, a wide treble, and a solid tonal character. The NP-35 is equipped with a larger amplifier than the NP-15 for more powerful bass and overall volume.
