The name "Piaggero" for the NP series is made up of "piano" and "leggero", a musical term meaning "light". As the name implies, the NP-35 is extremely compact even for a portable keyboard, so you can take it anywhere. The Piaggero reproduces the sound of the CFIIIS Yamaha concert grand piano. The sound was sampled from a grand piano with a clear, transparent tone, a wide treble, and a solid tonal character. The NP-35 is equipped with a larger amplifier than the NP-15 for more powerful bass and overall volume.
