The piano sounds come from two world-class concert grand pianos: the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. Speaker performance and the variety and quality of sounds, including organs and electric pianos, have been significantly improved over the previous P-515 model.

The NWX wooden keyboard, highly praised for its feel, has been replaced by the 88-key GrandTouch-S™ keyboard. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano. With the Registration Memory function for saving and recalling settings and other helpful and practical features for live performances, the P-525 is also ideally suited for use as a stage piano.
