This damper is made of lightweight plastic and is provided with a special rubber lip that provides a secure fit and a good seal in the bell. In conjunction with the Silent Brass system, damper gives a feel like an undamped instrument. Not to believe? Try it for yourself whether high or low, loud or soft, the tone is right and does not fluctuate. A special microphone in the shock passes the received signal to the Personal Studio
