Description

Yamaha PSR-SX620

Are you looking for a versatile keyboard that combines a wide selection of sounds and styles with modern features for playing, practicing, arranging, and recording? The Yamaha PSR-SX620 is a keyboard with 61 touch-sensitive keys, an extensive selection of voices, 415 styles, and built-in features for creative music production.

With its touch-sensitive keyboard, the Yamaha PSR-SX620 enables expressive playing where the volume responds to the force of your touch. This makes the keyboard ideal for players who don’t just want to play simple melodies, but who value dynamic control and musical expression.

Sound Variety and Auto Accompaniment

The Yamaha PSR-SX620 offers 850 voices, 43 drum/SFX kits, and 480 XG voices. This wide selection provides a broad sonic foundation for various musical genres and arrangements. In addition, the keyboard is XG/GM/GM2/GS-sound compatible, allowing it to be seamlessly integrated into existing MIDI and song environments.

There are 415 styles available for accompaniment. These styles support playing with automatic accompaniment and allow you to create complete musical arrangements directly on the keyboard. The features are rounded out by DJ styles, an arpeggio function, DSP, and multi-pads with Audio Link.

Operation, Parts, and Creative Control

The Yamaha PSR-SX620 features the sound parts R1, R2, and Left. This allows you to utilize different sound ranges while playing. Two assignable controls offer additional control over selected functions and enable direct operation while playing.

The color display provides a clear overview during operation. Especially with a keyboard that has many voices, styles, and functions, a clear display is essential for quickly accessing settings. This ensures the instrument remains easy to control even with more complex setups.

Audio, Connections, and Storage

The Yamaha PSR-SX620 features a WAV-format audio recorder/player. This allows you to play back and record audio files. Pitch Shift is also available. An internal expansion memory with 100 MB is provided for additional storage.

The connectivity options include a headphone jack, microphone input, USB to host, USB to device, AUX In, Line Out (L/L+R and R), and a sustain pedal jack. This allows the keyboard to be flexibly connected to accessories, external devices, and audio setups.

Speakers, Dimensions, and Purchase Recommendation

The Yamaha PSR-SX620 is equipped with 2 x 15-watt speakers. This allows the keyboard to be used directly without external speakers. Its dimensions are 1004 x 410 x 134 mm, and it weighs 8.1 kg.
