Description

The TF3, the middle model in Yamaha's new digital mixer series, offers a number of features that were previously reserved for professional consoles and are now being made available to a wider audience. The console has 17 motorized faders and 16 analog inputs with Yamaha D-PRE preamps, which can also be recalled for the first time. This gives you a total of 40 channels including the dual 2TR analog inputs, the USB digital inputs and the two returns.

Up to 34 channels can be recorded or played back via the USB interface and if a standard USB stick is connected to this interface, recording and playback are still possible on two channels. A highlight is the so-called Touch Flow technology, which enables compression and equalizing for each channel in the input and output via a controller. This enables a very fast workflow that can also be adapted immediately to changing conditions.

Common to all TF models is a slot for an optional NY64-D audio interface card, which allows the transmission and reception of up to 128 channels (64 In/64 Out) via a Dante audio network. When used in conjunction with Yamaha's new Tio1608-D input/output modules, the card can be used to create an extremely versatile stagebox system with up to 48 inputs and 24 outputs.

To make working with the TF1 easier, numerous input and output presets are stored to cover everyday stage situations.
