Extraordinarily expressive and realistic voices

The Tyros4 has an expanded and enhanced set of exceptionally authentic voices and gives you the opportunity to these natural voices and play with greater expressiveness. In particular, the instrument has many new Super Articulation Voices Choir, with amazingly realistic and natural sounds of the human voice - so you get even more expressive possibilities.

Powerful, professional auto accompaniment styles

The styles of the Tyros4 were improved by the expert use of new Super Articulation and Super Articulation 2 Voices. The Mega Voices provide larger and more expressive variations, especially in the Scat and Gospel Voices.

Dynamic and versatile vocal harmony function - with synth-vocoder

The enhanced Vocal Harmony 2 (VH2) (page 82) processing engine delivers superior sound, lightning-fast processing, and comprehensive, flexible control applied to your vocal harmonies. It also has a Synth Vocoder feature that provides the dynamic, popular vocoder effect for a variety of luscious sounds and even transcendent. You can also connect to the practical combi-jack on the back of either XLR mic cable or a 6.3-mm jack.

Voice Expandability td

Tyros4 is an instrument without limits, which allows you to continually expand the available content for their creative explorations. Yamaha has a special website (http://music-tyros.com/) with Premium Voices, Waves, Songs and Styles, etc. (called Premium Pack data) that can be purchased and downloaded to the Tyros4. (To take you purchased additional Waves and Voices, you must install the optional Flash Memory Expansion Module.)

Tyros4 you can record your performance as audio data (page 75), with two different methods: Simple (quick and easy storage on a single audio track) and Multi Track (overdub recording for complex songs). Since the generated audio data in WAV file format to be saved, you can edit your recordings on the computer and put it over the Internet or burn your own CDs. The instrument also allows you to play MP3 files.

Practical, easy-to-use Music Finder function

With the enormous wealth of the instrument on the available data (including your own songs and audio data), you can find with the Music Finder feature (page 66) and immediately call up what you need. You can find not only ideal setups (Voice, Style, etc.) for each song - by searching for Song-Titel/Genre - but also get your own (previously saved) Song and audio data. Additional new panel settings for the Tyros4 can be downloaded directly from the Internet.

Enhanced features for direct Internet connection

The Tyros4 can with the "Internet Direct Connection" (page 90) are connected directly to the Internet, so that you can download special content without a computer. Enhancements include a convenient, easy-to-use setup wizard for Internet Direct Connection, and new security options, with WPA2 and WPA.

You do not need a separate recording hardware - you can play all you sing and record, or even the sound of other instruments directly to the Tyros4! The audio is captured to the internal hard disk is stored digitally - in absolutely noise-free audio quality. If you have a computer with software for audio editing own, you can edit audio files as needed, and then import it back into the Tyros4. Voices

You can hear the difference when you play the classic choral voices Tyros4: the sound is incredible, thanks to Ambient Sampling of course. For sampling, microphones are normally positioned close to the instrument to take a very direct tone that contains very little of the atmosphere of the room. The new classical choirs Tyros4, the microphone positions were carefully selected so that not only the choir but also the acoustics of the room was recorded, resulting in unprecedented clarity and realism of sound.

The pop vocals Tyros4 you use Yamaha's latest voicing technology, Wave Cycling in conjunction with Super Articulation, process an enormously creative ways to play with vocal voices. The Tyros4 has an arsenal of different vocal articulations such as Aah, Bah, Bee, Doh etc.. The Wave Cycling varies the articulations as you play. So you can conjure up amazingly easy vocal effects of "Shoe-Bee-Doo-bah" to scat passages.
