Supercardioid capsule designed from the ground up.
The YDM series microphones are housed in an elegant metal body and feature a specially designed capsule that picks up sound flawlessly and reproduces it with crystal clarity. The YDM707 is equipped with a supercardioid capsule that picks up an even wider frequency range and suppresses unwanted background noise even more effectively.
Isolator to reduce handling noise
The YDM series microphones are equipped with a proprietary isolator that reduces vibrations and handling noise to a minimum so that you can concentrate fully on your performance.
A refined grip, like an instrument
Inspired by our musical instrument design experts, the YDM Series microphones are inspired by the flowing curves of a wind instrument. The top and bottom of the handle are accented with silver rings, giving it a distinctive design. Not only is the handle beautifully designed, but it has also been optimized through repeated prototype testing to ensure comfortable handling.

Sometimes mic drops are unavoidable. Whether from epic monologues or mishaps, replacement grills are available separately to keep your mic looking like new.
