Description

The Zoom AC-3 from the "Acoustic Creator" range is a DI-Box, effect pedal and sound remodeler all in one. With 16 source guitar presets such as Dreadnought, 12 String, Triple 0 or Upright Bass, the AC-3 simulates the sound characteristics of the different body shapes and sizes and restores the sound components lost by the pickup. The guitarist selects the instrument of his choice from the individual presets and makes sure that this sound is authentically amplified via a PA system.

For an even better picture, the AC-3 also provides 15 target guitar presets, which can be used to perfect the matching to the respective guitar model and body shape. Guitarists who play a Martin D-18 Dreadnought can, for example, choose the Dreadnought Source Preset and tune the sound to their instrument with the D-Eighteen Target Guitar Preset.

Using the AC-3's effect processors, guitarists can finally choose between 9 effects including reverb, delay and chorus to add the finishing touch to their sound. The main features for acoustic guitarists include a high quality preamp with minimal background noise, a compressor, 3-band EQ and the ability to choose between piezo-electric and magnetic pickups.

Using the anti-feedback control, problematic frequencies can be reduced during the performance. In addition, guitarists can add a boost function to increase the volume of fingerpicking or boost solo passages in the mix.

Thanks to the AC-3's intuitive, clearly structured design and automatic sound optimization, guitarists can quickly find the settings they want. Its compact dimensions, the pedal is also easy to transport and can be easily taken to any performance location, to rehearsals or even into the studio.
