Built-in effects such as high-pass filter, compressor and limiter are available for further sound shaping. Functions such as auto-record, pre-record and backup record ensure that no important recording is lost.
With the integrated USB audio interface, the H5 is a flexible tool for home recording, streaming or podcasting. It can be used as a stereo or multi-channel interface for PC, Mac and iPad - including a loop-back function for easy use in live streaming.

Power is supplied by two AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH), which provide a runtime of over 15 hours. For camera use, Zoom offers the optional HS-01 hot shoe adapter to securely mount the H5 on DSLR or camcorders.
