The Zoom LiveTrak L6max is a powerful 12-track digital mixer with an integrated multitrack recorder that's ideal for studio recording, live performance and podcast production. Despite its compact design, the L6max offers features usually only found on large mixing consoles - including 32-bit float recording, AI noise reduction, flexible routing options, MIDI integration and a variety of creative tools. Whether you're a band, solo artist or content creator, the L6max is a professional all-in-one device for any audio application.
With a total of 12 channels - including four combo inputs (two with Hi-Z) and eight line inputs - the Zoom L6max is perfectly equipped for a wide variety of setups: from acoustic duos to full band recordings or podcasts with multiple participants. Two independent headphone outputs and a sub-out mix allow individual monitoring options for stage and studio.
The L6max records up to 14 tracks simultaneously - 12 individual tracks and a stereo mix - directly to SD card. Thanks to 32-bit float recording, clipping and loss of dynamics are a thing of the past. Channels 1-4 are equipped with dual AD converters and process even the loudest signals without distortion.
A 3-band EQ with tunable mids per channel, internal effects such as reverb, delay and echo, as well as an advanced compressor on the master track enable fine sound shaping directly in the mixer. Scene memory, AUX routing, sound pads with MIDI sync and flexible bounce functions expand creative freedom and make the workflow more efficient than ever.
With AI Noise Reduction activated, the L6max intelligently removes background noise and interference signals without affecting the sound quality - ideal for speech, vocals and quiet passages. The OLED display provides clear visual feedback for navigation, levels and settings - even in poor lighting conditions.
With the free L6 Editor app for Windows and macOS, pads, effects and MIDI assignments can be conveniently controlled via computer. At the same time, the L6max serves as a fully-fledged USB audio interface (14 in / 4 out) with 32-bit float support. The direct connection to a smartphone or PC makes it the ideal tool for content creators and music producers.
The Zoom LiveTrak L6max is not only powerful, but also mobile: it can be operated with 4 AA batteries, via USB bus power or with a mains adapter. For modular synth setups, the mixer can even be integrated into the Eurorack with the optional ERL-6 adapter. This means it remains flexible in every application situation - from the studio to the stage.
